Celebrating Montana Native American Women Leaders and Entrepreneurs

February 23, 2024 Native Women Launch

As we approach International Women's Day on March 8th and prepare to honor Women's History Month throughout March, it's a perfect time to spotlight the remarkable contributions of Native American women, particularly those from Montana, in leadership and entrepreneurship. These women have long been the backbone of their communities, displaying resilience, creativity, and an entrepreneurial spirit that has shaped their history and continues to inspire us today.

At Native Women Launch, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our program on February 26th, just in time to coincide with Women's History Month. Our mission is to provide support and resources for Native American women in leadership, business, and personal finance through our free courses and community network.

Montana has a rich tapestry of Native American cultures, with tribes including the Assiniboin, Blackfeet, Chippewa-Cree, Crow, Flathead, Grosventres, Kalispel, Kootenai, Little Shell Band of Chippewa, Northern Cheyenne, Piegan, Salish, and Spokane.. Throughout history, Native women from these communities have played pivotal roles in their families, tribes, and beyond. From preserving traditional knowledge and culture to leading political movements and advocating for social justice, Montana's Native American women have left an indelible mark on the state's history.

Native American women have always demonstrated entrepreneurial skills, engaging in various ventures to support their families and communities. Whether through crafting traditional arts and crafts, operating small businesses, or leading innovative initiatives, these women have shown resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges.

With the launch of the Native Women Launch program, we are committed to empowering Native American women to further harness their entrepreneurial spirit and leadership potential. Our free courses will provide essential skills and knowledge in business management, financial literacy, and leadership development, equipping women with the tools they need to thrive in today's world while honoring their cultural heritage.

As we celebrate International Women's Day and Women's History Month, let us recognize and uplift the stories and achievements of Montana's Native American women leaders and entrepreneurs. Their legacy serves as a beacon of inspiration for generations to come, and through Native Women Launch, we are dedicated to continuing their legacy of strength, resilience, and empowerment.

Join us in celebrating the launch of Native Women Launch and in honoring the remarkable contributions of Native American women in Montana and beyond. Together, we can build a brighter future for all Native women, rooted in empowerment, opportunity, and success.
